Dryer Vent Cleaning

Dryer Vent CleaningAccording to a publication that the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission did, there are over 15,000 dryer fires annually.┬áRegularly cleaning your dryer’s lint screen is not enough to maintain its safe, continuous use. Your dryer collects highly flammable lint in more than just the removable screen near the door. Overtime, lint particles, find their way to the vent ducts and cling to the insides of the piping that funnels back through your walls. Lack of maintenance is the leading cause of dryer fires with lint sited as the leading material to ignite.
These fires may be caused by:
  • Lint Build Up in Vents & Ducts
  • Failure of Mechanical and/or electrical parts
  • Improper Materials Placed in Dryer
  • Insufficient airflow as a result of improper installation or blockage of direct flow
Unlike many health and safety issues we are faced with in the home, this safety problem has an easy and economical solution. The best way to prevent the possibility of a potentially disastrous dryer fire is with a thorough, professional inspection and cleaning throughout the entire dryer duct.
